We are excited to announce that The Centre for Reconciliation has been awarded four years funding from the National Lottery Community Fund! This is core funding to enable us to continue the wonderful work they have funded us for the last two years – Bridging the Gap. This money will enable us to develop the organisation, work with asylum seekers and refugees, have our own space, continue reaching out to ethnic, faith and cultural communities across Lincoln and Greater Lincolnshire to provide opportunities to meet, make friends and be supported. The Hygiene Bank will continue to grow and support more individuals and families. We have lots to look forward to which we can now implement including our education programme, trips interfaith kitchen, a publication and more. Please keep an eye on our social medias for updates of all that is coming so you do not miss anything.

Our Chair, Rev. Steve Holt, said ‘We are delighted to have been awarded funding by the National Lottery as this helps TCfR be able to reach out and support many more of our local communities. It also allows us to build on the work already done to support more people in need. New initiatives and partnerships will allow this to happen.’

Subash Chellaiah, TCfR’s Founder and Executive Director, said ‘Thank you National Lottery for awarding funding for our important and crucial work to help us tackle isolation through our activities like Chat Café and enable u to work with faith and cultural groups across the county. We are a small, growing interfaith organisation in Lincolnshire and with this funding we can make a huge difference in Lincoln and beyond. I look forward o delivering this work.’

A huge thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund for believing in our work and our organisation and continuing to fund the valuable work we do. Thank you for helping us support more people in Lincoln and Greater Lincolnshire.
