Lincoln Blanket Bank was launched in the autumn of 2023 to support the work of the Lincoln Hygiene Bank and warm spaces. The idea is to give people a handmade blanket to help them keep warm during the colder months and especially if they are struggling with fuel poverty. Knowing they have a blanket made with love can make a real difference.
If you would like to make a blanket you can knit, crochet or quilt one and donate it at any of the Lincoln Hygiene Bank donation points, any Lincoln Hygiene Bank sessions or at Fabric Corner.
We also accept cardigans and hats. Anything given to us for babies we support the maternity unit at Lincoln hospital and Baby Basket and if we have a lot of blankets we work with Age UK to support the people they work with.
