The Centre for Reconciliation (TCfR)and Lincolnshire Faith Council (LFC) was funded by Western Power Distribution, and we worked with people of all backgrounds to embroider a banner to celebrate and promote the wonderful, growing diversity in Lincolnshire. We met physically to sew together and packs were given so people could embroider their contribution at home. People embroidered an 8 by 8 inch square to represent something of their faith and culture. The finished banner was first shown at the Spring Faith Festival, March 2023.
We are planning to make a cross cultural peace banner so watch this space for more information.
