Scope of the roleLooking for a volunteer to coordinate the running of Lincoln Hygiene bank – a service where people in need will be able to come and get free hygiene products. A service that is much needed with the present cost of living crisis. Things are only going to get worse and harder for people. People are not just choosing between heating and eating they are choosing between heating, eating and keeping clean and in 2022 this is not right and keeping clean should be a luxury but a necessity.
Role DescriptionThe role will involve supporting hygiene sessions when needed and keeping in touch with the people running them to ensure they have the stock they need and if they need any other support. If needed you might need to help run a session if they are short of volunteers. When hygiene donation tubs are full going to collect the donations, taking to the storage and organising it there.
