Spring Chat Café
On Saturday (08.02.2025) we held a spring themed Chat Café at Holy Cross Church Hall. Gillian Fiddes came with her lovely friends and did a selection of circle dances for International Women’s Day.
An international student, from northern India, joined in the dances and she really enjoyed learning the new dances. Many people joined to share friendship and conversation while enjoy a bowl of homemade pea or lentil and mixed vegetable soup. The homemade cakes were enjoyed with a cup of tea or coffee and the white chocolate, raspberry and mascarpone cake was a favourite. We had our first raffle and this will continue at every Chat Café as everyone enjoyed it and we also had a table selling books, embroideries, pens, badges and Fairtrade products.
The next Chat Café is on Saturday May 10th.
